This exhibition brings together a collection of artworks which investigate translation as
an experiential, sensory, multimodal and intermedial event. The works were created as part of an
international collaboration between artists, writers, translators and academics which also included
public workshops. Together we trained our eyes to hear and our ears to see in order to translate
from languages we don’t speak, to give voice to drawing and shape to sound. The works in the show
include video art, performance, installation, print-making, painting and photography.
