Focusing on the early, expansive stage of writing: connecting with our place in the world and
unearthing who else shares it with us and how they might be involved in our creative processes and
influences. This is an opportunity to sit and wander / wonder with other writers, to water our ideas
in ways that may be new, to allow ideas and sketches to unfurl in an unexpected blossoming. Sarah
Hymas began the Imaginariums to create spaces that feed and fatten our imaginations and allow us
to explore our writing processes together and solo. They thrive on the pleasure of the unforeseen
connections we have and can make between us, and how writing is both a silent and explosive act,
solitary and collective.
