Join us for a special evening as Poet Laureate Simon Armitage reads from a selection of poems going back over three decades, plus new work including commissioned Laureate poems, extracts from his highly engaging new translation of The Owl and the Nightingale and poems from his most recent collection Magnetic Field.
Excerpts from The Owl and the Nightingale, a jewel of Middle English verse, featured on BBC Radio 4’s The Poet Laureate Has Gone to His Shed.
Simon will also read some new unpublished poems, answer questions from the audience and sign books.
