- Saturday, 13th July 2019
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
By looking at examples of recent poetry reviews and sharing thoughts on how (and why) we read poetry, this workshop will explore what constitutes a well-written review. We will also consider what the role of poetry criticism is in our enjoyment and understanding of poetry and develop a sense of how to read poetry critically in a non-academic context. Participants are encouraged to bring short reviews, in any form, to the workshop for discussion.
Venue: Community Hall
Step-free access. Toilets. Car parking adjacent (Pay and display).
