Doireann Ní Ghríofa is an award-winning bilingual writer, born in the west of Ireland in 1981. Her books explore birth, death, desire, and domesticity. Her latest books are Lies (Dedalus Press, 2018), which draws on a decade of her Irish language poems in translation, and 9 Silences (Salvage Press), a collaborative book with acclaimed visual artist Alice Maher.
