Expired74. Poetry Walk: Poems and Paths

  • Sunday, 8th July 2018
    9:30 am - 12:00 pm

A walk led by poet Jean Atkin on paths through ancient woodland. We’ll go at a gentle pace, with pauses to listen to a poem, and, if you like, a couple of opportunities to respond in writing to prompts provided by Jean along the way.  Frith Wood features in the Domesday Book and contains traces of medieval coppicing and charcoal-burning activity.  These beautiful paths will take us back through the geology, archaeology and natural history of the wood.  Please wear suitable footwear. There is one uphill section.

9.30am – 12noon
