Unfortunately Helen Mort, who was scheduled to appear at this event, was unavoidably delayed so Jacob Sam La Rose, one of the founding members of Malika’s Poetry Kitchen, stepped in at the last minute to fill the gap.
Tara Bergin is from Dublin. Her first collection, This is Yarrow, won the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry Prize, while her second collection The Tragic Death of Eleanor Marx refers to Karl Marx’s daughter.
